yummy mummy;

WARNING: RANDOM POST AHEAD. Part of this was evolved from a previous article written by myself && wanting to share it with you all. It is a little out of my range of expertise but something I truly wonder about and thought it was fun to write about!

For those of you who know me, you would all be aware of my "obsession" with yummy-mummies [and I hate to insult anyone here] MILFS. Trust me if there was a different meaning to the F word I would use it more freely.

No I am not gay. No I am not weird. It's something that I truly admire. Mums who are "Queen Multi-Taskers"- a booming successful career, extremely rich husband, beautiful home, zooming around the streets in a Black BMW X6 to soccer practice with her two little tots in the back seat. And on top of that, they still manage to look impeccable. I honestly don't know how they do it?

Do I ever wish to be like this? Why yes of course. One day. My obsession does not stop there, it continues on to admiring those celebrity mums. Yes I am aware they are celebrities who are given everything but may I remind you they [well the majority] have worked hard for their cold hard cash- along with help from their man's trust fund-.

Yes they are preened to perfection, wearing the latest designers outfits, these "mothers" dominate the glossy magazine covers, pictured with their children in poses that make parenthood seem the most effortless and glamorous of undertakings.

I mean, when there are paparazzi beating at their door, we've got to hand it to these ladies. They manage to make motherhood look like a glamorous doddle in skinny jeans. Who wants to be snapped in their grey track pants with matching bags around their eyes anyway?

And lets not forget that being with baby-on-board doesn't prohibit these stars from attending elite social events, let alone looking mumsy. Jessica Alba dressed in an Oscar gown, a few months into her pregnancy was a glam change from feeling schleppy and preggers. And let's not forget the poshest of them all, Victoria Beckham. You've got to hand it to her, Miss Becks always looks better dressed for the catwalk front row, on the soccer-field sidelines with her three children.

I am also aware that those fat, disheveled and exhausted mothers are the only ones feeling inadequate. As soon as the baby has dropped, A-List celebrities are back gracing the red carpets looking as gorgeous as ever showing no signs of labour! The mere mortals of the world however are up to their elbows in dirty nappies, sleepless nights and juggling feeding schedules.

But shouldn't this be an inspiration to all of you mums out there? No I am not a mum myself, but why would you want to feel even daggier and disheveled, when you could be out there dressed to impress flaunting your baby boo. Fashion is a lifestyle, not a phase.

Yes you could call it a superficial, photoshopped world.

Or admirable- like being spotted on park playdates or pureeing their child's green beans like everyday mums, yet looking impeccably polished!.

Or unrealistic in a sense that the heaviest burden a yummy mummy will ever carry is her latest designer bag.

But at the end of the day, they are all mums caring and nurturing for their little offsprings. Some are just more stylish than others!

Either way, I honestly don't know how she does it?
