#9 Apple's Abundance of Apps [QUTOJ1]

So I'm in love with the latest addition to my gadget family- the iPad 2. It's easy to use, versatile and ever so sleek and stylish.

But like it's brothers and sisters- the iPhone, the tablet, other smartphones even macbooks- apps are being invented by the minute.

For most of us Generation Y-ers who are always on the go go go (or some could argue we're just lazy), it's quite standard for people to read the news online as it's easily accessible, fast and cheap (Free anyone?)

It's also:

- Easier to read in user friendly format;
- Lighter and more convenient to carry;
- Easier to search through pages and zoom in on products;
-Cuts paper waste (super environmentally friendly!)
- Did I mention most of them are free? (huge advantage for us poor uni students)

 And it looks like I'm not the only one who agrees. Take a look at this video by The Australian, exploring the "Best TV and Radio Apps" for the iPhone.

The ABC even have their own "iView for iPad" app available, allowing users to watch online news streams!

And if you can't get enough of free news- here's a list of the top 5 free news apps for iPad.

Oh how I love thee iPad. Did I mention I'm posting from here right now? How convenient!

Happy iPad-ing!
