So the past 4 days, I have been slightly ill. (Stupid sushi from random little store!)
But unfortunately the world doesn't stop if you get sick, if you are in grief or if you are simply having a rough time.
Yes, you still have to wake up every day.
Yes, the bins still need to be taken out.
Yes, you still need some form of income.
Yes, you still have a pile of assignments/work on your desk.
By all means, it appears to get tougher.
But this is the somewhat ironic joy of life, making you stronger each and every day.
The classic quote: "What doesn't kill you only makes you stronger."
I know it's old but so true! Think back to all the times you've been scared/nervous about something.
It might be your first day at work, an interview, an oral, a piece of assignment due.
How many of you have been truly scared and said to yourself,
"holy shit, how am I going to get through this and make it out alive? I can't do it!"
I know I'm guilty right here.
And then, after the "super-scary" event, you think
"phew. Well that wasn't too bad! Glad that's over!"
Guilty again.
Take a look at yourself, you're still alive aren't you? Even if you do a terrible job, you still did it! Woo!
Negativity is so easy to consume in your mind.
The minute you start thinking negative thoughts, you start doubting yourself. If you don't believe in yourself then who will?.
Anyways, enough rambling thoughts,(sorry if it was too much reading!) time to take some of my own advice and start on my assignment!
Stay positive :)
Gros bisous
