It is something about the unattainable that seduces us - it provides us with challenges, a mysterious adventure and an injection of interesting in comparison to what we already have and already know.

And in that process we truly forget to appreciate what we already have and what is best for us.
Take a look at lust and love for instance. Why is it that for centuries, romanticists have yearned for unrequited love? Simple. It's seductive, tantalising, it's interesting. It brings excitement to our otherwise boring lives. What fun is love returned? It's expected and so we begin to take that unconditional love for granted.
Yes appreciate those who love you, and what is given to you- but that is not to say you should accept that as EVERYTHING- Always have the need to see, touch, feel, taste, hear the world and experience every bit of it. Be adventurous and travel the world.
What you are given is meant to ground you, to give you a source on which you can rely upon. But what you are given also has the potential to achieve bigger and greater things.
Live with gratitude, whether noted mentally or listed & know what you are grateful for. And always remember that, you only live once.
Gros bisous,
