tweet tweet.

The dainty little swallow is trending. Big time, or at least all over the internet! I'm not the one for birds, but these are cute! I'm also not the one for tattoos but when done in the right places, I fall in love. Check it out.

My take on the swallow print: basic black, stomping around in military boots with a statement scarf to add that touch of feminitity. Touch up with mascara and pair it up with the classics, Rayban Aviators. Oh and the Calvin Klein watch is on my wish list.

treasure thursdays;

Because alliteration is cool, here is my weekly post of my recent buys && things I am lusting over!

♥ Wow. The amazing things I have heard from this book!! I am so excited to give it a read. For those who don't know, a recount of Portia De Rossi's journey recovering from her battle with anorexia. From her lowest point, she began the painful climb to defeat the brutal battle to finally live a healthy and honest life. I will let you all know what I think of it! If you have read it, I would also love to hear your thoughts!

♥ asos you never cease to amaze me! This time, my order was slightly under control with a little baby order. I have been on the hunt for Aviator shades for weeks now! Ideally, I would die for a Marc Jacobs pair but I couldn't wait any longer and found these on asos and they were cheap as chips! Yes I know I bought two of the same style but they are oh so different and amp up any outfit! I have started a growing addiction to sunglasses.... it's a little bit strange but if you think about it, a vital accessory! Oh and did I mention free shipping?

♥ As some of you know from my previous post, I have been out on the hunt for a natural organic skin care range. And I found one! Thanks to my beautiful friend who is as addicted to beauty products as me, she recommended Australia's own, "sukin." Here are the my 3 must have steps: cleanse; tone & moisturise. I've heard it does magic to your skin! So excited to use it! What skin care products do you use?

♥ My biggest splurge this week. The newest addition to my handbag family. Say hello to "Viking Day" by Mimco. I absolutely love bucket bags/pouches. A little different to your conventional shoulder bag. Almost a bottomless pit, this baby can fit anything and everything in! And I am in love with the colour- I am more a brown/tan/white/beige fashion palette person by day and black based outfits by night. Perfect to be carrying around uni!

♥ Miranda Kerr. My biggest inspiration for absolutely everything. She is beyond pretty, positive and her style is to die for! Such an inspiring, motivating and overall just a beautiful human being loving the finer things in life. I admit, I have a girl crush.

Finally, to my fellow religious followers, Happy Easter!! don't forget to thank baby Jesus for giving us the opportunity to live life without sin. Amen.

trending safari;

so has anyone else seen an up and coming trend of animal prints? I never used to be such a fan of leopard prints... but this winter, it's a must! Talk about jungle fever! Whether it be tights, a scarf or even footwear, you can't go wrong with unleashing the animal within;

If you find you can't get pull of the leopard print, try another type of print instead! Zebra, stripes, either way, immerse yourself in a safari experience.

Now here are some absolutely delish fashion photographs for you to devour on; nomnomnom. enjoy!

sunshine threads;

Hi everyone! So always threaded has decided to do something a little bit different! I know my blog is mainly about my current lusts and buys, random trains of thoughts, devouring fashion photographs and of course my love for quotes and photography.

Today, I am introducing my very own style posts! I am very excited to share with you all a little insight on my own style threads. In case you didn't know, my personal style is well.. undefinable. It is always altering, changing to suit the current trends. No that does not mean I will go from grunge goth emo to pretty in pink pastels in one day, it means I am very diverse when it comes to the fashion palette, stay broad-minded and keep my options open.

I am all about hunting for those bargain buys (I am a poor little uni student after all), and sharing with you all my current finds. Whether they be thrifted, vintage or have created a little hole in my pocket. It's not all about the high-end fashion labels, it's about looking like you came out of a high-end fashion magazine.

I like to portray an effortless, messy yet structured look everyday. My style of course depends on my mood, the weather and what is in my closet! You may find me in a fancy dress one day or relaxing in a cosy pair of tights the next, you never know! But hopefully with these posts you may find a word that best describes my style... when you do, let me know!

Please note I will try and do these as religiously as possible, I am struggling to find time for anything these days with so many things going on at once, but with your support and encouragement I hope to find that balance. Enjoy!

beware of the saboskirt;

At the beginning of the week, I interviewed the lovely Thessy & Yiota on their blog! They were super friendly and prompt in response! One of my most favourite blogs ever. Check it out!

Brisbane girls, Thessy Kozoukas and Yiota Karalouka are more than just best friends. As bloggers behind saboskirt.blogspot.com these girls are the current talk of Brisbane’s street style. Documenting and sharing their favourite wardrobe pieces, choices and current inspiration online, the duo took their blog and love for fashion to a whole new level with the release of their online boutique, saboskirt.com

Thessy describes the term, “sabo” as short for sabotage, a phenomenon that has surrounded their lives a great deal. More specifically, Sabo Skirt, was derived from a shopping experience they once had.

Devouring inspiration on the internet, sifting through countless amounts of internet portals, it’s no wonder these babes have impeccable style! Think along the lines of, the Olsen twins, Olivia Palermo, Erin Wasson, Christina Centenera!

More than just pretty faces and far from sabos themselves, they both have business degrees behind them and are super ambitious! In 5 years time, they see themselves as young successful business women, running one of the most successful blogs in Australia, and hopefully, opened several SABO SKIRT shops around Australia.

 Hungry for success, the girls have made it clear that any attempt of sabotage upon them only makes them more driven than ever- watch out Brisbane && sabos, these girls are succeeding in style.

Truly inspirational!
