Particles of dust;

As I sit here attempting to study, I gaze off as I am no longer able to concentrate on my mountain of work! My eye has caught the eye of one particular dust particle – resembling a flying bit of a dandelion – floating ever so nonchalantly in the air. Not floating. Rather,riding the air, undisturbed and tranquil.
I’ve thought about it before. I do believe that there may be another world – or worlds, plural. Perhaps even another universe beyond our own beloved galaxy, either omnipotent or just as blissfully ignorant as we Earthlings are. Or maybe not even beyond our own galaxy, but within. I can’t help but think of Dr. Suess’How the Grinch Stole Christmas – that there could, quite possibly, be vast worlds within something as tiny as a snowflake. Like Whoville; not much different than our own Earth, or maybe completely different. Much happier, much more peaceful: a world sans hate, sans prejudice, sans war. Seemingly impossible in ours, but wholly probable in that tiny universe within that dust particle.
And what if our every step, our every breath effects these ubiquitous, unknown universes around us? An angry slam of the doors multiplies in magnitudes that become strong enough to destroy an entire galaxy of innocent creatures. A giggle or a kiss or a look full of undying love has the ability to make the sun shine in another. Depression that causes rain; anger that causes torrential storms.
I do have a point in my mindless ramblings and wild imagination. Everything we do influences someone, or something, in one way or another. A smile could save the life of a stranger on a street. A careless toss of a scrap paper on the side of the highway leads another driver to believe that it simply is okay to just litter. The former leads to that stranger’s happy life down the future; the latter to a world of a dying Mother Nature.
So the next time you act... think about it. We are all atoms of energy in the world, attracting things into the universe. So which are you? A positive or negative atom? What do you want to attract more? A world full of happiness, love and peace or a world full of disaster and terror? We're all in this together and regardless of what the action was, it snowballs into a chain reaction that can change a life for better or for worse.
Live with positivity and faith,
